I was happy that there was a quality, inexpensive replacement battery available for my new Nikon D5100 digital camera, instead of having to purchase a higher priced one. This product was more than I expected. I bought it as a backup for the Nikon D5100 battery that comes standard with my Nikon D5100 digital camera . I wasn't expecting anything special from a replacement brand, but I was shocked. The Nikon D5100 battery was about 1/3 the price of the Nikon brand battery, yet it had the same, if not a longer run time. I fully recommend this product as a supplement to the standard battery for extended trips. In the meantime, The Nikon D5100 battery charger is designed to take full advantage of the Nikon EN-EL14 batteries. I love this charger because it's so easy to use and can be taken anywhere with you.
