I was happy that there was a quality, inexpensive replacement battery available for my new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-J10 digital camera, instead of having to purchase a higher priced one. This product was more than I expected. I bought it as a backup for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-J10 battery that comes standard with my Sony Cyber-shot Series camera. I wasn't expecting anything special from a replacement brand, but I was shocked. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-J10 battery was about 1/3 the price of the Nikon brand battery, yet it had the same, if not a longer run time. I fully recommend this product as a supplement to the standard battery for extended trips. In the meantime, The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-J10 battery charger is designed to take full advantage of the NP-BN1 batteries. I love this charger because it's so easy to use and can be taken anywhere with you. Very light weight, works great and charges battery fairly fast.
